Kelly Cooke and Brittney Ott are returning for 2016 and we are also adding Casey Pickett. All three players were part of the inaugural NWHL Pride team. It is great to have these ladies join us as they are great role models.
Casey Pickett:
From Wilmington, MA. Currently plays for the Boston Pride and is the head coach of the St Marks Girls Varsity team. She was the Captain of the Northeastern Huskies. She played for St Marks and for Assabet growing up.
Kelly Cooke:
From Andover, MA. Currently plays for the Boston Pride. Played for Assabet from U10 through U19, winning 2 national championships. Graduate of Nobles (’09, captain) and Princeton (’13, captain). ECAC all-academic team 2009-2013, Team MVP ‘13. Currently works as a paralegal at a law firm in Boston. Also works for Michals Hockey Academy running skills sessions.
Brittany Ott:
From St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Currently plays for the Boston Pride. Played for Honeybaked (U16) and Little Caesars (U19). Graduate of UMaine ’13. Hockey East all-academic team, Hockey East scholar athlete award, top female student-athlete award recipient ‘13. Worked as a trainer at Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning. Currently works for Michals Hockey Academy as a goaltender/skills coach.
